Its not often we get political or even serious for that matter - but please have a good read of what your grandmother council would like for you. We have been trading almost 3 years with a 3am license and have maintained a perfect record, so why should we be punished (and you for that matter). You deserve a safe, late-night venue. What councils, and government fail to foresee is damage to local industry, job loses and fall in value for licensed commercial property. This will flow through the ranks of craft beer, independent liquor importers & distributors, students trying to get by and the individuals who have put their blood sweat and tears into opening a venue in conjunction with legislation, laws and guidelines only to be told that these may change. Wheres our compensation should this happen? It doesnt exist. So theres only one option, have your say below, prevent this bullshit, write to council, call the council, maybe make stickers that say NO, I WILL NOT BE TOLD WHEN TO GO TO BED and stick on the council chambers, you know - get creative.
