Its obvious to me that the BODs short term goal is to wait it out in hopes that the employees will need money and return back to work and loyal customers will give in to the boycott because they will get sick of paying higher prices elsewhere. Their long term goal is once customers return, slowly raise prices. I say that because I have yet to see anything from the replacement CEOs announcing to customers that they are committed to not raising prices (unless I somehow missed them making such a statement) . So, bottom line is, with the current regime, over time prices will be the same as Shaw, Hannafords and Stop & Shop. As a customer of Artie Ts, I will continue to boycott until he returns. Oh, and I must add.... why does it take two people to do what one man (ATD) did?
