Its official! After a year of campaigning across the state I have filed with the MT Secretary of States office to run for the U.S. Senate. I have been humbled by the support I have received as I have traveled the state. It is clear to me that Montanans from Dillon to Sydney want a Senator who will stand up for fiscal responsibility, privacy rights, individual liberty, personal freedom, and Constitutional governance -- and I am the candidate whose ideology embodies these Conservative principles. I have a vision, a vision to help our country grow and expand. I will work to: implement a fairer and flatter tax system; decrease government spending through the penny plan; eliminate entire federal agencies (like the EPA, Dept. of Education, Dept. of Energy, and others) that are full of waste, fraud, abuse, and duplicative programs and send that decision-making back to the States; expand opportunities for energy independence; secure our borders and enforce immigration laws; protect our veterans; repeal Obamacare and implement free-market strategies for insurance and health care. In his first year in office, the partys candidate has voted repeatedly to increase spending, has gone along with the violation our privacy rights, and approved the implementation of Obamacare. His More Jobs/Less Government mantra has been empty rhetoric as we now have more people out of the workforce than we have seen in over three decades, and we have the largest and most intrusive Federal Government in our nation’s history. The party should not select candidates. The people -- YOU -- should choose the next senator for Montana, and I want that person to be me. Let’s reclaim our country from party moderates and establishment politicians who have left conservatism behind and sold us short.
