நீங்களோ, உங்களை அந்தகாரத்தினின்று தம்முடைய ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினிடத்திற்கு வரவழைத்தவருடைய புண்ணியங்களை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாயும், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான ஜனமாயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள். – 1பேதுரு 2:9 பல நேரங்களில் ஏன் இந்த உலகத்தில் பிறந்தோம், ஏன் இப்படிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை என்ற எண்ணங்கள் உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் வருகிறது. உங்களை குறித்து நீங்கள் என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்கள்? நீங்கள் உங்களை குறித்து என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்களோ, ஆனால் தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் நீங்கள் விலையேறப்பெற்றவர்கள். உங்களை தேவன் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், தம்முடைய சொந்த ஜனமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜனமாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும் பார்க்கிறார். உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் சில காரியங்களை எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள், அதைகள் நிச்சயமாய் கிடைக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையோடு இருக்கிறீர்கள். ஆனால் அவைகள் தாமதமாகிற போது. அது உங்கள் கைகளில் கிடைக்காமல் தடைகளாய் இருக்கும் போது உங்களை குறித்து தாழ்வாக நினைக்கிறீர்கள். எனக்கு மட்டும் தான் இப்படி நடக்கிறது, நான் எதை செய்தாலும் இப்படி தான் என்று சிந்திக்க தொடங்குகிறீர்கள். உங்களை குறித்து தாழ்வாக எண்ணாதிருங்கள். நீங்கள் தேவனால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததி. தேவன் உங்களை தெரிந்து கொண்டது உங்களுக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல உங்கள் குடும்பம் முழுவதுக்கும் அது ஆசீர்வாதம். நோவாவின் நாட்களின் மனிதனுடைய அக்கிரமங்கள் பூமியில் பெருகினது. தேவன் பூமியை அழிக்க சித்தம் கொண்டார். மனுஷனுடைய அக்கிரமம் ப+மியிலே பெருகினது என்றும், அவன் இருதயத்து நினைவுகளின் தோற்றமெல்லாம் நித்தமும் பொல்லாததே என்றும், கர்த்தர் கண்டு, தாம் ப+மியிலே மனுஷனை உண்டாக்கினதற்காகக் கர்த்தர் மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டார், அது அவர் இருதயத்துக்கு விசனமாயிருந்தது. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: நான் சிருஷ்டித்த மனுஷனைப் ப+மியின்மேல் வைக்காமல், மனுஷன் முதற்கொண்டு, மிருகங்கள் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் பரியந்தமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளை நிக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன், நான் அவர்களை உண்டாக்கினது எனக்கு மனஸ்தாபமாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்.(ஆதி 6:5-7) நோவாவுக்கு கர்த்தருடைய கண்களின் கிருபை கிடைத்தது. நோவா தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் நீதிமானாய் இருந்தான். பூமியன் அழிவிலிருந்து நோவாவை காக்க தேவன் சித்தம் கொண்டார். தேவன் நோவாவை தெரிந்து கொள்ளும் போது அவனுடைய முழு குடும்பமும் தேவனுடைய தெரிந்து கொள்ளும் சந்ததிக்குள் வந்துவிட்டது. நோவாவின் குடும்பம் முழுவதையும் தேவன் காத்தார். அது போல உங்களை தேவன் தெரிந்து கொண்டதின் நிமித்தம் உங்கள் குடும்பம் முழுவதையும் தேவன் இரட்சிப்பார், காத்துக்கொள்வார். தேவன் உங்களை பார்த்து என்னால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியே என்று அழைக்கிறார். தேவனால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததி எப்படி நடக்க வேண்டும். தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட நோவா தேவனுக்கு அப்படியே கீழ்படிந்தான். தேவன் சொன்னபடியே பேழையை செய்தான். பிரியமானவர்களை நீங்கள் உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை என்னும் பேழையை எப்படி கட்டுகிறீர்கள். தேவனுடைய வசனத்தின் படி கட்டுகிறீர்களா? இல்லையென்றால் உங்களுடைய சுயவிருப்பத்தின்படி உங்கள் குடும்பத்தை நடத்துகிறீர்களா? பிரியமானவர்களே, நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய வழிநடத்துதலி படி உங்கள் குடும்பத்தை நடத்துவீர்களானால் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளின் வாழ்க்கை சமாதானமாய் இருக்கும், நீங்களும் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை குறித்து கவைலைபடாதிருப்பீர்கள். இன்றைக்கு அநேக விசுவாசிகள் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளின் நிமித்தம், அவர்களுடைய வாழ்கை முறையின் நிமித்தம் வேதனை படுகிறார்கள். அதற்கு காரணம் நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின்படி உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளையும் உங்கள் குடும்பத்தினரையும் வழிநடத்தவில்லை. நோவாவின் வாழ்க்கையில் நோவா தன் பிள்ளைகளை தேவனுடைய கீழ்படிதலில் நடத்தினான். அவர்களுக்குள் தேவபயம் இருந்தது, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின் மேல் விசுவாசம் இருந்தது. விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக்குறித்துத் தேவஎச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான், அதினாலே அவன் உலகம் ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளானதென்று தீர்த்து, விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான்.(எபி 11:7) பூர்வ உலகத்தையும் தப்பவிடாமல், நீதியைப் பிரசங்கித்தவனாகிய நோவா முதலான எட்டுப்பேரைக் காப்பாற்றி, அவபக்தியுள்ளவர்கள் நிறைந்த உலகத்தின்மேல் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தை வரப்பண்ணி,(2பேதுரு 2:5) தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட நோவா தேவனுக்கு பிரியமானதாய் நடந்தான். எனவே தேவன் நோவாவோடு ஒரு உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்தினார். அந்த ஆசீர்வாதம் அவனுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் உண்டான ஆசீர்வாதம். பின்னும் தேவன் நோவாவையும், அவன் குமாரரையும் நோக்கி: நான் உங்களோடும், உங்களுக்குப் பின்வரும் சந்ததியோடும், உங்களோடே பேழையிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட சகல ஜீவஜந்துக்கள்முதல் இனிப் ப+மியில் உண்டாகப்போகிற சகல ஜீவஜந்துக்கள் பரியந்தம், பறவைகளோடும், நாட்டு மிருகங்களோடும், உங்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிற ப+மியிலுள்ள சகல காட்டு மிருகங்களோடும் என் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துகிறேன். இனி மாம்சமானவைகளெல்லாம் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தினால் சங்கரிக்கப் படுவதில்லையென்றும், ப+மியை அழிக்க இனி ஜலப்பிரளயம் உண்டாவதில்லையென்றும், உங்களோடே என் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துகிறேன் என்றார்.(ஆதி 9:8-11). தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட நீங்கள் அவருக்கு கீழ்படிந்து, அவருக்கு பிரியமாய் நடக்கும் போது உங்கள் சந்ததி முழுவதையும் தேவன் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். தமக்குமுன்பாக நாம் அன்பில் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களும் குற்றமில்லாதவர்களுமாயிருப்பதற்கு, அவர் உலகத்தோற்றத்துக்குமுன்னே கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டபடியே, - எபேசியர் 1:4 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: - 2Peter 2:9 Sometimes a thought comes to your mind as to why you were born in this world. You are questioning yourself about your life as to how unlucky you are. Whatever you may think about you, in the sight of God you are precious. God is calling you as a chosen generation. You are his holy nation. You are a peculiar people and a royal priesthood in His sight. In your life with great hope you are expecting some good and blessings. But if there were some delays in receiving it,and if your plans are not working as you expected you see the hindrance in it. So you brand yourself unlucky and start hating yourself. You jump to a conclusion that you are unlucky , and conclude what you attempt to do will never bear fruit and you will be unsucessful. Don’t think with a negative attitude. You are God’s chosen generation. As God has chosen you, you are a great blessing to your whole family. In the days of Noah wickedness and evil things filled the earth. God determined to destroy the earth. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD repented that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.(Gen 6:5-7) Noah was a righteous man in that days and he received grace in the eyes of God. God decided to escape Noah from the destruction. When God chose Noah, his whole family came into the God’s chosen generation. Noah and his whole were family safe from the floods. In the same way God chosen you and so your whole family and you will be saved and guarded by God. Today God is calling you as his chosen generation. If you are God’s chosen generation, then how your life must be oriented? Noah who is chosen by God obeys God’s word. He builds the ark as per the counsel and advice of God. Dear beloved have you built your family ark? Are you leading your family as per the word of God? Or are you are leading a life according to your selfish attitude? If you lead your family life according to the word of God then you will see peace in the life of your children. You will never worry about your son and daughter. These days many believers have no peace on seeing the life and activities of their children. The reason for such things happening is because of your failure to lead your children in the fear of God. Noah led his children in obedience and in the fear of God. They had faith in the word of God. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.(Heb 11:7) And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;(2Pet 2:5) Noah who is chosen by God pleased him. So God made a covenant with Noah. This covenant blessing is for Noah and continues his generations. And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: (Gen 9:8-11) Dear beloved you are God’s chosen generation, obey God and go according to his word and please him and then you and your family will be blessed.
