Its one thing to oppose something when its subjective and difficult to prove, like the existence of God. Its another thing to oppose something that is factually proven and agreed upon by the entire scientific community. The other narcissistic and stubborn red side, represented by the pillars of intelligence like Donald Trump, Pat Sajak, Marco Rubio and the Koch Brothers, to name a few, would have you believe that Global Warming is a liberal conspiracy farce due to record cold temperatures. However, any scientist would explain that the average temp has gone up considerably in the past decade which melts polar ice caps and glaciers in the arctic that are responsible for blocking fronts like the polar vortex from seeping down into civilized areas. This is FACT. A conservative friend of mine once told me that she had a stance on a certain issue, and before I had a chance to explain why I believed she was mistaken, she pre-emptively told me, I know you will have facts and figure to prove your point but please dont bother, as I have made up my mind When factual evidence is no longer permitted, that is when you are resigned to the notion that there really are people you will never be able to reach, and the saddest part is that this population is becoming the majority.
