Its quite surreal to me that this Sunday will mark the end of my five year run of living in Northern Virginia and even lengthier 23 year run of residing in VA. A few weeks back, I came across the right opportunity that would allow me to take a risk and step out of my comfort zone, and that begins with relocation. Starting next Monday, I will be training in Dallas, TX for the permanent HR role I accepted with Amazon, Inc. After this, I am scheduled to help with HR/Recruiting efforts in launching other Amazon sites opening in the Southeast. At the end of it all, I will permanently settle in Charlotte, North Carolina where my new position is. Thank you NOVA, for the difficult and amazing times I have had here and for helping me learn more about myself. I still have so much more to learn, and for that reason, I feel ready for the next chapter...
