Its real easy to blame OweMalley for the loss of business in Maryland but we need to apply the same criteria on a local level. Just like states compete for Businesses and the citizenry that goes with it so do counties. We cant look at Annapolis and point the finger for policies that damage the economy and Maryland and not look at our county in the same light. Cecil competes with New Castle, Chester county, Lancaster co. and Harford County. Let me ask the question, As people who say we support the private sector and competition why do we ignore the factors that hurt our county. We can do better and if we truly believe in the free market principle we have no choice to do just that. Even with the lower tax I dont see NC co. suffering a loss of services.
