just got to thinking about something bill coasby said the other day. what ties do black people in todays society actually have with Africa ? . or how many actually have direct ties to Africa. just wondering if referring to blacks as African America thats tying them to Africa which if you think about it is not a country but a continent. with that being said though isnt saying African American a stereotype or a racist statement ? living in America we are all americans plain and simple. as cosby said himdelf you dont hear whites saying irish American or british American or Mexican American. youre either American or youre not.
