Its so sad that our Manageress at the charity shop I work at wants to phase out books in our store cos in her opinion they dont sell - more than about 5 a day at 1 quid each.. She thinks that everyone is into kindles etc now n not reading real books.I keep telling her ppl go into charity shops just to look at books and then look around might buy other things and that ppl with readers still buy paper books etc but she wont be told...she also phased out cds and is wanting to stop doing dvds.. Bric a brac gains more n more floor space.. how many ornaments can ppl buy esp in a recession? Can I have your opinions please if you can spare the time? Id quite like to print this out n show her.
