Its time for Friday at 5 with Lorrie, aka the oatmeal pusher... Our Quest clients hear me talk of oatmeal and its virtues quite often. Once they try it fortified with egg whites, most sign on for a regular morning helping, or two. Besides loving what it does for my tastebuds, I also love what it does for my body. It allows me to get enough calories, something I have to work at in order to not gain weight (yes, you read it right - less than 1200 calories and most bodies hold on to fat like crazy). Its a great balancing meal, containing fat, carbs and protein and it keeps me full until my mid-morning snack. Try it and see if its a game changer for you! If you have tried the egg white version and dont like the combo, there are plenty of other recipes on our Pinterest breakfast board.
