Its very frustrating to see how people keep missing the whole point of music. Not just EDM, but music as a whole. Musicians write music as a form of self expression. Wether it is feelings, emotions, experiences, thoughts that they are trying to express and get out of their heads... inspiration is inevitable and it can come out of ANYWHERE! Instead of hating on these so-called genres and how well or how bad these are executed, people should encourage and constructively criticize their favorite musicians/producers to move forward and keep trying new things! Because thats what music is and will always be; a forward-thinking form of art. Respect other peoples work just as much as you would like them to respect yours! At the end of the day its all about the music and thats the reason why were all here isnt it?
