It’s a chilly Thursday in Chicago – good morning! Cloudy and unseasonably cool with a high near 61. Slight chance of rain tonight. The rest of the week and weekend will be cool and cloudy with a chance of rain through Saturday. On Morning Edition: More than 2,000 people have already signed up to become eligible for medical cannabis in Illinois. And for some, the possibility of an alternative to traditional prescription medicine can’t come soon enough. WBEZ’s Yolanda Perdomo continues our look at medical marijuana in Illinois.
