On Morning Edition: More than 2,000 people have already signed up to become eligible for medical cannabis in Illinois. And for some, the possibility of an alternative to traditional prescription medicine can’t come soon enough. WBEZ’s Yolanda Perdomo continues our look at medical marijuana in Illinois. On The Afternoon Shift: Host Niala Boodhoo explores why motorists are ignoring Illinois’ “must-stop” law. It requires drivers to stop for pedestrians. We’ll hear whats being done to change that.
