It’s been a big day in the campaign against the East West toll road, in Melbourne and in both houses of Parliament in Canberra! The Greens have today lodged a Senate motion to order production of any documents held by Infrastructure Australia, including a business case. Here is Adam Bandt speaking to the House of Representatives about the lack of transparency and public business case for the East West toll road, and calling on the Government to submit the project to a proper cost-benefit analysis through Infrastructure Australia. The Greens are still the only party who unequivocally and unconditionally oppose the East West tollway, at the council, state and federal levels.
