It’s wise to completely clear away from the slippery rim of the Pit. Don’t play tricks around it – “I can play – I will not slip”. You will!! Some fell suddenly – “unawares”. Others – gradually – one slip at a time. If you are honest you will say – it wasn’t unawares; I saw it coming - but heeded not the warnings. Some learn survival techniques in the pit & pretend grand. Never learning. Dead rope tricks – fooling themselves all the time – others for a while. Then of course there is the danger of PP pulling you into the pit when you go into be puller up person (PUP) without any training or lined up rear guard help. So we have a PUP training mechanism - Learn, train, reclaim precious lives.
