Ive always had a fascination with the Vikings since learning of them in school. They are legendary for being the giant men who take what they want and nobody can stop them. History links them to the definition of a Pagan. Their religion is of pleasure. Their moral structure is based on what suits them at the time. Paganism is simply just a primal human characteristic. Its built into all of us. We love feeding that side of us. It feels good. Being selfish feels good, that is until the guilt sets in. And to justify our guilt of selfishness away we claim to be good and proper. Its all part of it. The Vikings were complete scumbag pussies but they have a romantic legacy. They are the original bad boy. Who doesnt love a bad boy. Its the irony that attracts me to this part of history. At the end of the day, nobody actually likes the bad boy. Its because when it all comes down to it...when the fun ends and life continues on...the bad boy is nothing more than a scumbag pussy. Hes a selfish asshole. To be more specific, hes an ignorant selfish asshole. So history records the Pagans as being scumbag pussies. History repeats itself. And thats because with every new generation we have to learn as we experience. We write it down to record our experiences so we wont have to repeat our mistakes, but not all of us take anytime to read it and learn from our ancestors mistakes. So, history repeats itself. If you want to see the future, look at the past. History is a crystal ball that can see into the future because of our built in human programming. There is one theme that always prevails in history. And it answers the question of what happened to the Vikings. If you dont know it, then you are destined to repeat it over and over again until you get it or you die. So remember this lesson. On the surface the Vikings seemed to be the greatest men of men that ever lived. But in reality they were not men at all. History gives them no respect at all, but the unaware people do. Seek the Truth or suffer the consequences. Google it! Read a book! Learn!
