Ive been around dogs my whole life and despite the characteristics in some breeds - Pitbulls are the same as other dogs-Will love you more than itself! I rescued an abused Pitbull in 2009 and it was my well behaved with no history of abuse chihuahua that would attack my Pitty! He put up with it a lot until one day he defended himself and with his strength and size did quick damage- I regret listening to my family and giving him away! But I had Presley first! Still he was a lovable big kid- bull in a china cabinet! Ive seen mean Dobermans, German Shepards, Chihuahuas, Boxers, Poodles, Got a scar in the face from an abused little Shitzu - So in the end it depends on the Owner -just like why do some kids misbehave and have no manners!! We as humans inherently have the ability to create mass destruction and harm- Pitbulls/ dogs in general cannot even if they wanted can do that! Statistically there are far more pedophiles, murders, rapist, etc. We need to attack and control the major harm and problem- evil humans capable of horrendous acts! Just like racism and stereotyping exist- so does it occur with an innocent breed of dog!! For all the hundreds of attacks I can come up with hundreds of rescues from Pitbulls! The article is very flawed!
