Ive been documenting this boat over the years as she slowly disintegrates. This picture is from 2003. It was made with a Toyo 45AX and Nikkor SW 90/8 lens on T-Max 100 film. I used a yellow 12 filter. I placed my view camera very low to the ground and also used some rear tilt to stretch the boat and give it the looming feeling I was after. These days, I dont use such distortions much, preferring to sort of stay out of the way and just let the subject be, but what can I say; I was younger and more romantic back then. :-) The Point Reyes, Tomales Bay
