Ive been doing a lot of writing the last several weeks for a symphony orchestra project (to be performed in Brazil next year). Ive also been writing new tunes for the COLORS OF A DREAM tour (with Jaleel Shaw Wayne Escoffery Esperanza Spalding Ugonna Okegwo and Johnathan Blake) that starts on July 5. In July well be in Iowa City, Montreal, London, North Sea, Vienne, La Spezia, Molde, Garana, Malta, Munich, Pescara, Atina, Foggia, St. Moritz. Ill also be playing with my quintet in Langnau and Paris. COLORS OF A DREAM tour resumes in mid-August with dates in the US: Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Rochester, Wilmington (DE), New York, Chicago, and Detroit.
