Ive been dreaming about something for years. Ive been working toward something for years. Ive been praying about something for years. For so long, I told myself, Someday... Ive been seriously talking this over with some of the people in this world I love the most. Lately, I have felt it was time to finally take that step of faith that you sometimes have to take...you know, a step toward that kind of scary place that is the cross section between the passion God has given you and the trust that if you just go with it, hell hold on tight. And so, yesterday, my friend, and now my partner in fun and faith, Becky Gaylord, and I opened our own little booth at a happy little antique shop on Marietta Square called Marina Marina. Julia, the shop owner, and all the people there are incredibly nice, creative and supportive. Marina Marina feels like home when you walk in the door. Plus, it is completely packed with one treasure after another. If you love art, color, new ideas and meeting new friends, come and visit Marina Marina. I cant close this post without thanking some of my special loved ones who have helped me and encouraged me. So thank you Jim, Mom and Dad, Natalie and Patrick, Oma and Russell, Poppy and Judy, Julie, Steph, Gracie (aka The Lunch Bunch), and Lisa (my favorite roomy forever).
