Ive been in a bit of a funk lately ..... Until..... I get home and there is an envelope from my BFF , SIS, Amy-Iris Cordero Fisher. I open the letter. Inside is a tiny, carefully wrapped box and a handmade greeting card. I read the card and automatically know what is in the box. Inside are some tiny unopened flower buds. We would collect them as kids and , for fun, whip them at each - this was known as bud wars (hey-without video games this was great entertainment!) She saw them on the ground, thought of me and then took the time to send them so we could share a memory. How can I be in a funk with such amazing and thoughtful people in my life? Love you Iris!!!! You are awesome:)
