Ive been in the Casino Business since 1987. Yesterday I officially resigned. It felt like I just stepped out of my own prison. Ive been wearing this coat of armor for many years, living with no fear and holding my ground trying to protect what was inside. I realized that having no fear doesnt mean you have courage. It just means youve become careless. Courage is not just about standing your ground. Its about fighting for what you believe is right, what you believe is the truth. That truth is your perception of life. Pay close attention to what you believe in folks. There are some things in life you should never compromise. When the people who have the authority to control a significant part of your life, have a completely different perception of the truth, you are in the wrong place. You dont have to fight it. You just have to develop the courage to believe in what is right for you, and go through whatever stands in your way. My saying Im better than that doesnt mean Im saying Im better than you. I just wanna be the best I can be, and will never compromise on the life I believe I deserve. That just means Ill continue to pursue the life I am accountable for. Get in my way and Ill either go through you or around you. Take care of yourselves Casino people. I know very few of you take the time to read anything past 2 lines so, you wont be missing me when I delete ya anyway.
