Ive been nominated (Cheers Si) to post a favourite tune a day for five days, whilst nominating three other people to do the same. I dont think I could ever have just 5 favourites and the list would forever change, so heres tune number 1, just something Im enjoying at the minute. Torn N Frayed from the legendary Exile on Main Street, for many the high water mark over an incredible 4 album run from The Rolling Stones. Recorded in the basement of Villa Nellcôte, the French Chateau Keith Richards was renting at the time. Have a google, if you get the time, how the album was made and the circumstances surrounding it are of the time and fascinating. I will try and pick my nominees based on a genuine interest in other peoples musical tastes and sources of inspiration.
