Ive been nominated by Matthew McNeilly to talk about the 10 most influential albums in my life. 1. American Idiot - Green Day, this was the album that got me into guitar, arguably the most important on this list. 2. Horizons - Parkway Drive, cant beat a good dose of heavy metal and this is one of my favourites! 3. Professor Satchafunkilicious & The Musterion of Rock - Joe Satriani, this album opened up my eyes to what was possible on the guitar and was a hugr influence on my playing. 4. Black Clouds & Silver Linings - Dream Theater, taking technicality to the extreme! 5. Greatest Hits - Big & Rich, THIS, was my introduction to Country Music! Its still one of mist favourite country releases! 6. Play - Brad Paisley, this album opened my eyes to what was possible in country playing and Brad is one of the best! 7. Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold, this is my favourite album from Avenged Sevenfold, amazing songs and brilliant guitar playing. 8. The Outsiders - Eric Church, this album is on constant repeat in my car and wherever I am, I love how Eric Church isnt afraid to break boundaries in music and carve his own sound. 9. The Strange Case Of..... - Halestorm, Two words. LZZY HALE. What an incredible voice, the best voice in rock & roll as far as Im concerned. 10. Feel The Steel - Steel Panther, what can I say? Its Steel Panther!! Im a sucker for glam rock! I nominate: Paul Bain, Nathan Edwards, Danielle Colligan, James Bernauer & Peter Northcote!
