Ive been nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge by Dusty Bo. At first I wondered what in the world would this challenge would do to further the research cause for ALS, and then I read the numbers. Their donations alone are creeping in on $15 million dollars, in big part to the spreading of this viral challenge. Barbara Newhouse, President and CEO of The ALS Association, says “We have never seen anything like this in the history of the disease. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the level of compassion, generosity and sense of humor that people are exhibiting as they take part in this impactful viral initiative.” I can get down with that. I encourage participation and donation, so now I nominate Barry Baumann, Frankie Lindia, Sam Harman and Brandon Davar to step up to the plate. You have 24 hours. Or Duane Dog Chapman is coming after you. Wait, that cant be correct. Either way, without further ado, its time to get wet....
