Ive been thinking heavily about bringing The Spook Show Con back to life with a new layout/platform. Im thinking about building it as a side show / freak show kind of event featuring old circus side show style entertainment in addition to the normal paranormal & horror genre elements & films we have used for many years. This of course would be built on little to no overhead, so it will be a HUGE challenge to put together.. But the end numbers might just make it very beneficial if I can find individuals with side show talents willing to work the event for a portion of profits. So, Im currently looking for ideas and people interested in such an event. Side Show entertainment is something I have always been greatly facinated by.. It use to be huge business back in the day of the traveling circus.. So, if you are someone with a special side show talent, please get in touch with me... Even if not a talent yourself, if you have ideas.. Please forward them to me. I hope to make a decision on this, this week sometime. Venue is another thing I wonder about, not sure if my normal high school venue will be fitting for such performances or not..
