Ive been working today on a speech Ill be giving tomorrow about the impact Ive seen the Food Banks Food for Kids program have on families. Im going through past emails and I received one that really stood out: Michelle writes, You said a child was caught eating paper because she was so hungry. I burst into immediate tears, remembering how that used to be me. If it wasnt for getting food from the backpacks at school during a certain hard time, I dont know what I would have done. We are doing good now. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Food Banks Food for Kids program!!!
