I am so glad that I was able to altar my vacation plans and get a red eye flight out to leave early from a brief vacation to be with the Sam Branch of my Sion (maternal) Family in Beaumont, TX, as we celebrate the life of my sweet cousin, Shirley Ann Sam, at her home going! As I reflected, I felt obligated to get a last minute airplane ticket from Nevada because I cant think of many events, family funerals, wedding, children dedication, special birthday celebrations or family illnesses in my life that Shirley didnt attend or a just because/thinking about you telephone calls and cards that I didnt get from her! Lesson: what seeds you sow, you reap...plant good seeds and expect a great harvest...do good when nobody is looking and watch for a bless before the eyes of all, even your enemies... I am sadden yet, encouraged that Shirley moved the other day from her Beale Street house in Beaumont, into Gods House in Heaven, where she sits in His presence awaiting that great crowning coronation! But, the good part is, that she cant crown HIM until I get there and until time is convened and eternity is started!! Death is hard but its the only way to get to heaven. Everybody wants to get to heaven, but we have to die to get there! So. I am just rushing to Beaumont for a celebration and a last farewell! Keeping the Prayer wheel turning for my family!
