Ive experienced both the things she talks about- the harassment as well as the being told to be quiet about it. And I dont even have a youtube channel or a true outlet to express my concerns. I just have facebook and other social media, where I share things that I find significant. And for some reason that still causes discomfort enough for rational, intelligent people who I call my friends to tell me that Ive stepped over the line. I dont agree with everything she says, specifically that those who try to silence us are worse than those who threaten us with rape and violent death. Its just ignorance, but thats exactly why we need to speak out.
