Ive finally arrived in Durban, South Africa where Ill be for at least a week or two. I picked Durban as a base for several reasons: 1) Ive never been there before. 2) it is within driving distance of Swaziland and Lesotho and several World Heritage Sites. Ill be working while Im here and then renting a car in early February and do a road trip for a few days. Im thinking a loop which takes me to Drakensberg National Park, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique and iSimangaliso National Park before returning to Durban.
