Ive finished the Aoba yukata and shorts (I have no idea what his little outfit is called, lol - if you know what its called, let me know!). Ive commissioned a friend Chewy Chibi to draw up some designs for the small Rens around the bottom (check out her chibi art, its amazing!). I can draw but I cant just draw off the top of my head, sadly. Ill be hand painting those and sewing them on by hand. I made the shorts entirely using my sewing machine and about 80% of the shirt on the sewing machine. I hand sewed the collar and the sleeves into the shirt, I just prefer to do fiddlier stuff by hand. Im going to work on Koujaku tomorrow, as I may wear his yukata to the Christmas Picnic on the 6th Dec. I have had Clears fabric for some time and I got Noizs fabric for my birthday. Noizs fabric is a little darker then in the pic but I a) quite like it a little darker and b) am going to be gradient fading it, which should be fun to learn how to do. I am still on the hunt for the perfect Mink fabric, which Ill also be gradient fading. I also got some fabulous, de-lustered pink satin for my birthday...its going to be used for the Ciel dress. I love this fabric, it has this pearly light shimmer to it that I think will look wonderful.
