Ive had a lot of people ask about my decision to back away a while from FB, so maybe I owe an explanation. Ive delivered far enough corn-based drivel and saccharine-laced sentiment -- not much substance there. Its that I regroup and devote time to other things, most notably to boys and my career, whichever direction that takes me. Variety and freedom of expression comprise the heart and soul of social media. People from all walks of life contribute to this forum, many of whom offer deep, profound thoughts. Many come from my peers, people whove won many awards for their writing. Others come from folks who never wrote for a living. Those deserve attention. Read, analyze and learn from them.
