Ive had an awesome week at work, and Im starting to get it with this new side of the industry. The light bulbs are definitely going off and Im working well with the rhythm of the day. Im excited and so happy with the new job, but Im also in for a rough road for a while longer with the state of my position there. Theres a ton of clean up work to do to whip this office into shape, but Im sure Im up to the challenge, and theyve made it clear they are happy with the processes Im putting into place to do just that. Its so nice to be appreciated! More good news... Ive found a new apartment that is $140 cheaper than the one Im in, and its in a much nicer neighborhood. Im already approved for move in the last weekend of the month, so now Im trying to work my budget to afford moving costs and miscellaneous expenses that tend to come up when you move. Ive put my feelers out for assistance, but since Im making a sustainable income now, theres not much out there, so Ill have to figure something out myself. Sigh... But... KC is REALLY excited about having a new home, and Kevin and I are breathing a little sigh of relief to see the light at the end of the tunnel is actually sky and not another train. Just a few more hurtles to jump over to get settled and back on track with our lives, and that feels so good after so long in the world of dis-stress.
