Ive just been sat waiting for my Brother-in-Laws late arrival flight into Liverpool from Warsaw so i drove to the end of the runway on a public road to watch the flight landing (i was bored & im a bit of an airplane spotter !!) 2 minutes before the plane landed a Police van with armed Police pulls up in front of me and flashes me to acknowledge im friendly !! It scared me, but also makes me feel a bit safer knowing that there is always a presence with things like that because otherwise it could be easy for some crack pot to try and shoot a plane down !! He asked me what flight i was watching, where it was from, what airline company so my presence there was definately being watched !! Thankfully i had all the right answers....
