Ive just seen a post by a fellow admin speaking of head admins who are way too strict and dealing with that general topic. After reading the post I both agree and disagree with certain points. As both a head admin and an admin on pages that are not my own I think Im able to address this post without being biased. 1) When it comes to posting there are head admins who require that you post several times a day. Although I agree that an admin should post I think that once a day or once every other day is sufficient and as a (head) admin I fully support the use of the scheduling feature to keep a page active. During certain periods of times in life (such as exam season) I always give my fellow admins the option or taking a break or scheduling posts in advance. 2) Promos. Personally, I believe that the responsibility of promos should be that of the head admin(s) and other admins should be given an option to do them (except during periods of trial). I have adminned on pages where the head admins DEMAND that promos are done by every admin every day and I left because of this as I did not have the time to devote to doing promos for 5+ pages each day. 3) Admin activity is a very important thing to me both as a head and a regular admin. I believe that if you have chosen to admin on a page you should dedicate time to the page and using life or school or other issues as an excuse for every single thing is unacceptable. I can understand if it comes up now and again as thats very reasonable but if you constantly avoid partaking in admin activities on a page it seems as though youre just there to say you hold that position. All in all, if you choose to admin a page then you should ensure that your life is in order so that you can give that page its due. If life becomes a hassle then you should leave as there are others who would die for the position you hold and its only fair. You shouldnt feel badly for wanting to leave a page because life has become too hectic because, at least for me, I love giving other people the chance to trial and admin on my pages if an admin has had to leave.
