Ive received the call & it LOOKS as though Nomad will make a full recovery, they need to keep him overnight again & check that his digestive system is working 100% as he has passed more manure (funny what is exciting when youve had a sick blocked up horse!!) hes had more IV fluids, a couple more drenches & the best news is, hes had no pain killers & showing no signs of colic pain! So hes staying for a little bit more monitoring, another round of blood tests & then hell be fed a bigger meal & checking that his system is working from start to finish. Then he can come home!!! There is still the very small possibility that his intestines may be in the wrong place, but so far all his tests today have shown very excellent results, so fingers crossed there are no complications & I can pick him up tomorrow!!! Yay! Such a relief!
