Ive run 4 official marathons, in four different states. Ive won many track races, and won a cross country race with many other high places. Ive changed my whole life for the sport of running. Ive moved 3000 miles to a strange place to embrace my dream of becoming a professional runner and pushing my body beyond human limitations. I ran 50 miles in 12 hours in mountainous terrain, an ultra marathon, 42 miles in 9 and a half hours as a training run. Im looking at a 100 mile race in August. Ive dedicated my whole life to this sport. Ive made several newspapers and got lots of public attention. Ive made a name for myself. People know who I am. I have no runners in my family. And I constantly get asked the question how did you start running? And every time its same answer. I started by having the greatest coach who helped me push my body beyond what I thought was capable. Made sure I followed the right path in life. Helped me through whatever I had going on. Did everything in his power for me plus more. He made my life what it is today. Hes the reason I am who I am. Hes the reason I am a runner. And without him I would not be where I am. I owe all my wins, accomplishments, and determination to my coach. I owe everything to him. I want to say thanks for getting me to where I am and making me become a stronger person. Even outside of running. Thank you. Dawson McCall
