Ive seen this a lot in my feed, and theres actually been mixed reviews. Heres where I stand. We do NOT need to supplement our financial system to accommodate food prices. We need to truly educate the people on how to budget their money, monitor intake of food, and find exercise time. To say that you are overweight and unhealthy because youre broke is possibly the most absurd/irresponsible/victimized thing to claim. I believe its actually fairly simple. People should stop buying products they dont need, learn how to eat properly, and start exercising regularly. All the money spent on common technology and services is shooting people in the foot, and keeping them on the couch. Unhealthy products (chips/soda/sweets/frozen/etc) are just as expensive if not more expensive than anything that will benefit ones health. Its fairly easy to feed a whole family a proper meal for a fraction of the cost of ordering out. (FYI, eating a few big meals a day is horrrrible for you, and the bank..) Plus, the ankle express is always boarding!! Anyone can do stationary exercises (some of the most beneficial to do.) Ill boldly say that Ive yet to meet someone who has upheld a balanced diet and exercise regiment, and still cant keep their weight under control. Take it from someone whos battled their weight their whole life, and recently busted a 72 pound loss in 11 months. And I did it all without going to a gym ONE time. This is a lifestyle issue; nothing more, nothing less. Dont advocate change, be the change you want to see.
