None even bothered to read it; in their eyes being deceived on the 2nd coming isnt a salvation issue!! (Rev. 22:18-19) Do you want to know whats really frightening about our future? In the middle of the 70th week of Daniel (Dan. 9:27, Mat. 24:15), a world leader will invade an unsuspecting Jerusalem (Ezek. 38:1-11) with armies from several Muslim nations (Luke 21:20, Dan 7:7-8, Rev 17:11-13). Through flattery and cunning (Dan. 7:19-25) he will be granted authority over all the nations! (Rev. 13:1-4) Once this miracle worker somehow stops the wars, famines, earthquakes, and pestilences plaguing mankind (Mat 24:4-8); the world will begin to proclaim peace and safety. (1 Thes. 5:3) He has also issued a mark to buy or sell goods. (Rev. 13:16-18; 14:9-11) In order for this financial system to work effectively everyone must cooperate. Tragically, the resisters refusing to comply are being arrested, even executed for treason. (Rev. 13:15; 20:4) During this great tribulation of the saints there will be many ministers proclaiming the Gospel (1 Cor. 5:1-5), the Virgin Birth (Mat. 1:20-23), the Trinity (1 John 5:7), the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4) and Jesus as the only begotten Son of God! (John 3:16-18) These same ministers, confidently coming in Christs name (Mat 24:4-5), will be reassuring their congregations the above world leader is not the Beast highlighted in the Revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev. 13:1-18), the mark to buy or sell he is promoting is not the mark of the Beast (Rev. 14:9-11), and those resisting this world governing authority are actually bringing judgment on themselves by resisting God! (Rom. 13:1-2) Our Jesus warned, Take heed that no one deceive you. Many will come in my name saying I am the Christ, and will deceive many. (Mat. 24:4-5) As we speak, how many Christians are already being deceived by their pastors concerning the timing and consequences of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering to Him (2 Thes 2:1-4)?
