Ive spent the better part of my day reflecting on the experience of the last 8 weeks rehearsing and performing Christmas At Leons. As with any show, I get emotionally attached to the cast, the crew, the story, the music, and the character I was blessed to portray. Everyone involved in this show are amazing people and I am thankful to all of them and to everyone who came to see it. It was strange waking up this morning knowing I wont be stepping onto the stage as Travis Richards...or Perry Normal or Connie or Jack Merriwell for that matter. But thats part of the cycle of emotions as a theater performer. The next role and play is just around the corner and so the process starts all over again. Having been a part of four theater productions in the last 7 months has been humbling, exciting, challenging and time consuming. But most of all it has been life changing. I realize now that music and theater is my calling. Im ready to move on to the next chapter, the next role and the next song. BRING IT ON!
