Ive written a lot of songs on other instruments. For instance, there is a tune called “Five Dollars Unleaded” that I wrote a few years ago. And that whole tune was written on the bass guitar. I remember just coming up with this baseline on the bass and then later transferring it over to the ukulele. That idea would never have occurred to me if I were just sitting with the ukulele. But something about the bass guitar made me think of that melody, made me think of that baseline. youtu.be/LK-pXv1cPqQ
