I’d like to say a few things about this A-Rod/Biogenisis thing if anyone cares. First, I am a Yankees fan! (I also love the Reds too, but that’s another conversation) Second, I believe that Alex Rodriguez is guilty. He has admitted in the past of using PED’s and there seems to be just way too much evidence out there that he has used since his last admission to ignore. Ultimately, it is for the arbitrator to decide what’s what. Third, Ryan Dempster is a horse’s ass! (So is A-Rod for that matter, but we already knew that.) I was okay with Dempster throwing the first pitch at Alex to make a statement. I am completely for the “self-policing” aspect of baseball and Alex has done quite a bit outside of PED’s to deserve a few baseballs to the torso. Dempster had his chance and MISSED!!!! To throw again with the intent to hit the batter is Bush League. You’re a major league pitcher. You should be able to hit the butt hole on a squirrel from 60 feet and 6 inches. If you can’t hit a 6’3”, 225lbs, testosterone filled man on your first pitch, perhaps you should find a new occupation. Hit, or don’t hit, the guy with the first pitch and then move on. Next, all of these players that are coming out and saying that A-Rod shouldn’t be on the field need to read the ENTIRE contract the next time they are asked to vote on a collective bargaining agreement. My mother always taught me to never sign or agree to anything without reading everything on the page(s). MLB players: You voted that anyone who gets suspended for PED’s by MLB has the right to play while awaiting arbitration. Don’t cry now and say that’s it’s not fair. You voted for it! Last, Will MLB, A-Rod’s Camp, and the Yankees please just shut up and let the arbitration process just run its course? MLB keeps “leaking” information about all the wrong doings of A-Rod while A-Rod’s people are saying that the Yankees withheld information about his hip last season and that the commissioner is just on a witch hunt. Meanwhile, the Yankees keep stirring the soup and trying to get out of their asinine contract with A-Rod by getting him kicked out of MLB for life. A-Rod may deserve to be kicked out of baseball, but it’s not his fault the Yankees signed him to a ludicrous 10 year, $275 million contract. That’s your fault Yankees, and you’re a bunch of idiots in doing so. To all parties, PLEASE JUST SHUT THE HELL UP! You’re turning our national pastime into a joke. Thanks for letting me rant. I feel much better!
