I’ll admit there’s no scripture in the Bible that support the saying, Cleanliness is next to Godliness. However, the Lord has called Christians to a higher standard! If you don’t elevate your standards of what you’ll accept in life; it will always be easy for Satan to trick you into behaviors, attitudes, and a “quality of life” that’s far below what you deserve! That being said is your house making you sick? I understand Isaiah 53:5 says, “…by his stripes we are healed”. However, maybe your nasty living space: house, town-home, or apartment that’s most likely full of toxins, gases, mites, and God knows what—has you and everyone in a mile radius quoting, Isaiah 53:5. After all, the more people are exposed to this “Poor Home Hygiene” so to speak, the greater your risk for developing the health problems they can cause. Now, I’m not saying, “Everyone in the Body of Christ keeps a nasty house!” You know who you are and most of us do too!
