Now holding at #4 here’s Ariana Grande, a woman who is constantly being compared to Mariah Carey and according to Ariana, that totally fine with her. In fact, she says that being compared to Mariah Carey is “an honor. Ariana Grande told US Weekly: Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. Ive even done a cover of one of her songs. I dont think there are any negatives to being compared to one of the greatest vocalists of all time. Its honestly a great honor. Comparisons between the two artist’s have been rolling in since Ariana Grande burst onto the music scene in 2013, with some critics on board and some arguing otherwise. But in whichever camp you happen to fall, youll probably still enjoy her cover of Careys Emotions.
