I’m not going to comment on the Grand Jury’s decision in Ferguson because, honestly, I don’t have the amount of information that they did. However, I will say this; Don’t ignore the facts just because YOU see in colors. Let’s be honest here, this whole thing was never about the innocent killing of a young man. It was never about a possibly innocent murder of somebody by a cop. It’s only been about the fact that it was a WHITE cop that shot and killed a BLACK young man. Racism. That’s what it’s always been about. Because, if it was about the innocent deaths of young people, there would be riots on a daily basis, as hundreds of innocent young men and women, especially in the black community, are murdered every day. You don’t hear a word besides “Oh, how sad”. If it was about a cop going too far with a suspect, there’d be riots every day, as there are tons of other cases where stuff similar to this have happened. But no, it’s fueled by racism. Racists who can’t stand that it was a WHITE cop. Racists who sit idly by while members of their own race are killed every day by each other. Racists who claim this young man was murdered by a cop’s racism instead of in self defense. Racists who ignore facts to push their own agenda all the while screaming inequality, the same “inequality” that affords them the okay to riot over events like this, but would label white people as bigots if it were the other way around. Racism. Pure black and white racism. You want to end it? Stop yelling “racism” at every single event that could be misconstrued to look like it. Stop labeling people and events. Stop claiming that others only see in colors, when you do the same exact thing. Stop. The events in Ferguson were tragic, but let’s start looking at them for what they really were and not what you want to see. Oh, and for goodness sake, stop destroying businesses run by members of your own community. You want to make a statement, have some balls and go destroy government and law enforcement buildings, if that’s what you’re really rioting over…
