JANL’E DESIGNS: WHERE HAVE ALL THE HATS GONE? I have been in - TopicsExpress

JANL’E DESIGNS: WHERE HAVE ALL THE HATS GONE? I have been in the creative art world since I was 16 years old. I have been a model, an actor, had my own nightclub act, have taught the art of improvisation, meddled in standup comedy and currently do voice-over work, where I just finished a Piece for The Plymouth Foundation, a National Company, but back to my loving passion, creating something from nothing! I hope all of the woman in the world will find my one-of-a-kind creations and wear them proudly atop their heads, or let them lye on a dresser to brighten up your dressing room or hang on a wall to add ambiance, because after all I call my phenomenon, Wearable Art. Not long ago, I woke up one morning and was overcome with this intense obsession, if you will, to make…“Hats?” Yes- hats! Not just ordinary hats, but hats that make an impression, that fit the mood for all of us. Many of them ideal for costumes, some with a look that fit some sort of era. (I am not really sure which era, but my clients seem to know!) I start making a hat and suddenly it looks like one for a Rock Star, or for a Tattooed Lady or a Sophisticated Woman-- Then Rockabilly to Singers of all Genres, Theatrical Entertainers, Film Actors, Models, Photographers, Designers, Decorators and ALL People from ALL walks of life.( Whoa, that was a mouthful! :) ) But, please on with my oh so short bio......:) I have no real explanation for this phenomenon other than, “It just felt like this is what I should be doing in my life,” and I as always, continue to follow my dreams and inspirations, no matter how hard life gets, “When The Going Gets Tough, I Get Going!” My imagination just won’t slow down, and I do not try to stop it anymore, because living that way, just doesn’t seem to work out for me, personally. . Perhaps my intense passion for hats began as a child when I watched my mother pin a gorgeous hat on her head on her way out the door for a glamorous night on the town. (Or perhaps it is just the continued internal visuals, that for some wonderful reason, KEEP POPPING UP in my Gemini mind. Did I mention I am also left handed? ) Sadly, the years have not been kind to hats which, are often featured in high-end fashion magazines, but not worn by real women. Yet, I never lost my love for hats. .In the last couple of years I have been creating and doing shows all over The Chicagoland Area, with great success, to an art loving clientele! My newest line of “Papparas” are designed to frustrate the paparazzi from snapping invasive photos- but they are also great for the morning after a late night, and are a step up on the Fedora.( if you ask me) Although Decorating Fedoras is also something I just adora! So, if you are an Individual Who Is Not Afraid To Make Your Presence Known, then by all means- get a JANL’e today! Although I will never give up my love for the camera, there is not a night that goes by where I am not creating another great hat art design. And now another creative, one of a kind idea has struck me again: Earrings and Mirrors! Don’t ask, just another internal obsessive phenomenon. Please browse around and add me to your circle! Because as I truly feel, There is Drama Behind Every Hat Story: Especially a JANL’e ... NOTE: Every now and then I find an authentic vintage beauty that MUST go up for sale, so please keep an eye out for those untouched and original designs too!
