JENNIFER HUSTON MISSING PERSON CASE RELEASE #4 News Release from Newberg-Dundee Police Dept. Posted on FlashAlert: July 31st, 2014 7:37 PM Today, July 31, 2014, the Newberg-Dundee Police Department was assisted by the Yamhill County Sheriffs Officer Search and Rescue (SAR) members who searched the NW region of Yamhill County. Mountain Wave communications, a private SAR out of the Portland area, also assisted in searching some of the central rural areas of our Yamhill County and some of the wooded areas directly West of McMinnville. The West Valley portion of Yamhill County was searched via air. Aerial searches by Yamhill County Deputies will continue tomorrow over forest lands west of McMinnville. The south end of Yamhill County has been patrolled by regular patrol and forest deputies and they have checked all the parks and areas where we frequently, parked vehicles are located. After tomorrow mornings flight, the Yamhill County Sheriffs Office will have covered all rural areas of Yamhill County and no further search efforts are planned for Yamhill County. Of course, if additional information arises, search efforts will be resumed as necessary. The Marion County Sheriffs Office has been since Monday and will continue to patrol the Detroit Lake recreational area and surrounding parks and forest lands, using marine, patrol and forest deputies and cadets. The Tillamook County Sheriffs Office has been using their SAR deputies and volunteers to search rural portions and forest lands of Tillamook County that adjoin Yamhill County, north. The Oregon State Police has completed a search of all Oregon major transportation routes to include state parks and highway pullouts. Some rural portions of Washington County were searched in the Gaston and Laurelwood areas by Newberg-Dundee Police Department. While law enforcement, family and friends have been checking several areas, as noted above, we do not have any information as to Mrs. Hustons specific or general location. The Newberg-Dundee Police Department continues to receive multiple tips and potential leads and we continue to triage and follow-up on each one. The Newberg-Dundee Police Department would like to thank all of the agencies that have assisted us thus far, to include the Yamhill County Sheriffs Office, the Tillamook County Sheriffs Office, the Marion County Sheriffs Office, the Cannon Beach Police Department, the Titan Fusion Division of the Oregon Department of Justice, the Portland Police Bureau and the Oregon State Police. The Huston family and the Newberg-Dundee Police Department would also like to thank all local and national news media for covering the disappearance of Mrs. Huston and encourage their continued coverage. We also would like to thank members of the public for their interest in this case. We believe that it will be with the publics help that Mrs. Huston will be located.
