JESUS DIED BETWEEN TWO THIEFS As Pope John Paul II was dying he sent for Mahama n Afari Gyan to come to the Vatican. Wen dey arrived,dey were ushered 2 his bedroom. As dey entered, de clergymen held out his hands n asked dem 2 sit on each side of de bed. The Pope grasped their hands, sighed contendly, smiled n stared at de ceiling.For some time, no one said anything. Both Mahama n Afari Gyan were touched n flattered dat de Pope would ask dem 2 be with him during his final moment.They were also puzzled bcos de Pope never gave any indication that he liked either one of dem … Finally,Mahama asked,”Father, what did u ask two of us to come here for? ”The old Pope mustered up some strength & said weakly,”Jesus died between two thieves….I will like to die like him.
