Kichton, a 2011 redraft defenseman that was passed on by the Islanders, put up 85 points last year for the Spokane Chiefs. One of the best offensive defensemen in recent WHL history with 268 points in his four years with the Chiefs. Karlstrom, another defenseman, played at all three levels of junior hockey with AIK (a Stockholm-based team), mostly in the J18 Elit and J18 Allsvendskan. He played 22 games for the J18 Elit team (U18, while the SuperElit, the top, is U20), tallying 32 points, but was notably +30 at that level.
