Me: maam, Ive given you my drivers license Her: and Ive already explained to you we do not accept foreign drivers licenses Me: what? Her: your drivers license is from Columbia, passport please Me: that drivers license is from the district of.....(cuts me off) Her: the nation of Columbia Me: that is the District of Columbia. Washington, D.C., the nations capital Her: I can only accept a state drivers license (she now has a reference guide out of state drivers licenses) she looks up Washington and finds Washington state. Her: there is no Washington, D.C. Drivers license. Me: not under W, its under D after Delaware ....district of Columbia. Her: thats not a state, are you from Delaware? (She gets to the Ds, and I point to District of Columbia.) well damn, you learn something new everyday. Do you pay taxes there.......
