JKD ? What I dont like and what I think its fake is the following: People always quote Bruce Lee ( BL ), saying he said that and he said that. People put on their facebook page quotes here and there form Bruce, but in the End they dont even know what it means. What Im saying is, STOP putting stuff up on Your pages about what BL did, may it be quotes or videos on Youtube and trying to kick or punch like him, trying to move like him....it looks stupid - You look stupid - It looks silly and it shows you dont have a mind of your own. Post Your Own stuff, work Your Mind and post something that came out of your brain and not from someone elses Brain. It looks silly imitating some ones techniques, it looks silly imitating anything someone elses did before you, it makes You look like a fool and all You are is a Imitator. If you cant come up with Your own techniques, movements and quotes, you are just a wannabe Bruce Lee. There can be only one BL and that person is not with us anymore. BL was 100% BL, he was himself and nobody can or will be like him as a person. In terms of fighting, there are a few people around that are pretty close or even at the same level of SPEED as BL was. What it comes down too is fighting. The simple fact is, you are either a fighter or you are not. Octavio Quintero JKD,Tommy Carruthers JKD, Jeef Speakmann a Kenpo Fighter, Dan Inosanto JKD & PHFA,Tommy Morrison Boxer ( dead ), Mike Tyson Boxer, Pacman Boxer, just to name a few, those people are all fighters, they are themselfs, they dont try to be someone elses and they dont try to imitate someone else. It is ok to Idolize someone, but many people take it to obssesion and that is wrong, those popel need help from a Doctor. So get real and be yourself - it makes people have respect for you - Nobody says BL wasnt a Great Martial Artist, but he sure wasnt a God. So be Yourself
